Decisions about whether an additional debit card can be issued to a personal or business member and client are based on each person’s needs. A needs assessment will be carried out jointly between the member and client and a UNI employee. Should a new card be issued, delivery times are to be expected.
The debit card provider uses a secure, automated process to create and mail out cards and PIN's.

As part of the transition, UNI is migrating the accounts and profiles of all members and clients to the new financial and transactional platform. As a result, you received a new debit card and a new PIN in the mail to be able to make transactions after 10 p.m. on July 6, 2023

You will be able to activate your new card with your new PIN as of 10 p.m. on July 6. To do so, you will need to make an initial Interac transaction at a merchant’s or go to an ATM and enter the (4) four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) you received in the mail. Note that after this first transaction, you will be able to use your debit card online and complete your contactless transactions. If you wish, you can change the PIN as of Monday, July 10.

Your old debit card was automatically renewed. The one you received is therefore a replacement for that card.

If you received a new debit card (white or blue), it is linked to your UNI accounts. You are able to activate your new card with your new PIN. Note that after this first transaction, you will be able to use it online and complete your contactless transactions. If you wish, you can change this PIN.
